What To expect during your newborn session

Every newborn session is unique. Some babies will sleep through the whole session and things will wrap up quickly. Other babies will need more attention and breaks. Do not stress we will get all our shots in and the more relaxed mom and dad are, the more the baby will be too.

If you have some specific shots you would like please inform me beforehand so I can prepare for them.

Here are some guidelines to follow in order to prepare for your lifestyle newborn session

Please keep your baby awake for AT LEAST one hour prior to my arrival and feed them between 15-30 minutes of my arrival.

Make sure you heat is at least 75 degrees.  Babies cannot regulate their temperature yet so we need to keep them warm. If it is summer just make sure your air conditioning is turned off 15 mins prior to my arrival.

Have a pacifier and bottle ready. A lot of times while we get them to pose they may need a little calming down.

Baby needs to be in a diaper only when I arrive. So when I arrive, we do not have to disturb them

Have burp clothes and wipes out. Accidents are very common and nothing to worry about.

Have wraps, outfits, and any other items you would like to include ready

If it is warm enough we will venture outside!

Please open up the blinds in your living room, bedroom. and nursery as these will be the rooms we will use the most.

If you have any other questions or concerns about your upcoming newborn shoot do not hesitate to email or call me.
